There were a number of 1/87th scale cars available as loads for the Tierwag (6 cars), the bogie bolster (3) and the later articulated car carrier (8). Click on the image for a bigger picture |

Although similar to Tri-ang Minix cars, Jouef cars were crude and had no interiors or windows. Hence they were vulnerable to damage and cars without broken window stays or squashed roofs are sought after. They were available in a limited number of colours (e.g. black, grey, red, white, pale yellow and light blue) with white wheels with a red painted centre. They were perpetuated under the Jouef label and, from the evidence in the catalogues of the day, the range of models seems to have expanded. They do not appear to have been available separately. |
